Overview
The Columbia University Department of Urology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital offers fellowship programs to urologists interested in gaining knowledge and experience from one of the nation's leading minimally invasive urology programs. The Columbia University Department of Urology currently offers three distinct fellowship programs:
Minimally Invasive Urology Fellowship:
This two-year program, sanctioned by the Endourology Society, offers a rich experience in all aspects of minimally invasive urology including endourology, laparoscopy and robotic surgery. Co-Directors: Dr. Mantu Gupta and Dr. Ketan Badani. (Learn More)
Combined Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Urology and Voiding Dysfunction:
This one-year program at Columbia University, unlike other minimally invasive fellowships, is uniquely designed to offer extensive experience in all aspects of minimally invasive urology, including advanced endourology (percutaneous access, ambulatory PCNL, flexible renoscopy, single session staghorn removal, ablation of calyceal diverticula, endopyelotomy), benign and reconstructive laparoscopy (pyeloplasty, nephrectomy, ureteroneocystostomy, ureterolithotomy, pelvic floor reconstruction), BPH (office TUNA, Green Light laser), incontinence and voiding dysfunction (slings, neurostimulation, artificial sphincters, Urolume, cystocele/rectocele repair), and office urological procedures (urodynamics, ureteroscopy, RPG). International Minimally Invasive Urology Fellowship:
